Easy-To-Use Management Software

Card encoding is handled through interactive screens and check-in/check-out is completed with a single click. Lost cards can be cancelled instantly, and housekeeping or manager cards are defined according to authority levels.

How The Card System Works

The guest card opens the lock, and when the same card is inserted into the Energy Saver holder the room power is switched on. When the card is removed the power is cut and the DND panel outside the door reports the room status to the staff. Lock, energy and notification systems therefore work as one, driven by a single card.

Frequently Asked Questions

We have gathered the questions we hear most often. If you cannot find your answer here, get in touch and our team will come back to you shortly.

Which card technology do the locks use?

They use Philips Mifare 13.56 MHz card infrastructure. Cards can be encoded at least 100,000 times and used 1,000,000 times, and are not damaged by sunlight, magnetic fields or seawater.

Can we see who entered the room?

Yes. The lock memory keeps the last 992 entry records. These can be read at the door with the handheld terminal and reported, and unauthorised entry attempts are also detected.

How long does the battery last, and can the door still be opened when it runs out?

Four AAA or AA alkaline batteries provide more than 15,000 openings. The lock warns when the battery level drops, and in emergencies the door can be opened with the mechanical key on the lock.

Can different authority levels be defined for staff cards?

Yes. Guest, housekeeping, technical service, floor and manager (master) cards are defined with separate authority levels, and each card can be given validity per room and date.

What happens if a card is lost?

The lost card is cancelled in the software. As soon as the new card is read at the room the old card automatically becomes invalid — the lock does not need reprogramming.

Does the card lock system integrate with PMS (hotel management software)?

Yes. Mifare-based card lock systems can work fully integrated with in-room automation and central PMS management software. The software offers Turkish and English interfaces.
